About

I create art for both public and private spaces, building sculptures and mosaics from steel, concrete, ceramic tile, and glass. I pride myself on being a master craftsman who both designs a work and then formulates the concrete, welds the steel, and cuts and places the mosaic tiles. I have a direct, tactile connection to the art I create, something that informs my art from the very start, when you and I first discuss your project.

Blue collar art

I come from a working class family, a background that has profoundly shaped my approach to art. Growing up in a hardworking environment, I learned the value of getting my hands dirty, of building something substantial from the ground up. This upbringing instilled in me a deep appreciation for the process of creation, one that is as important as the final product.

Built to last

My artistic process is akin to a construction project. Each piece is engineered and meticulously crafted to endure the test of time, with the ambition that it will stand strong for a thousand years. The materials I use—concrete and steel—are chosen not only for their durability but also for their raw, unyielding beauty. These sculptures and mosaics are not just meant to be looked at; they are meant to be experienced, to stand as lasting monuments to the marriage of art and craftsmanship, to last for one thousand years.

Harmonizing with its site

Inspired by the visionary Antoni Gaudí, my signature style involves designing and constructing murals, sculptures, benches, bollards, and enhancing surfaces such as columns, walls, and floors with intricate mosaics. Each public art installation I create is site-specific, designed to harmonize with its surroundings while incorporating historic and cultural influences. This thoughtful approach ensures that my work not only beautifies but also enriches the spaces it occupies.
